VOTE Results: Which Blood Angels special character are you?

Thanks for voting guys, much better than what usually happens... I wonder why...

8 of you voted for Mephiston. I really like Mephiston my self because he's very good in close combat and can get to the enemy quickly using "the wings of Sanguinius" and fleet.

6 of you voted for Dante. I really like putting Dante with a squad of Sanguinary Guard as they will land wherever you want the without scattering away, and are good in close combat and can shoot down the enemy tanks.

6 of you voted for Tycho. I usually take him with a squad of pistol and combat sword scout. The make a good assault unit especially if they have a razorback to take them (Blood Angels rhinos and razorbacks can turbo-boost).

6 of you voted for Gabriel Seth. I've never actually used him but he looks good as he has a strength 8 chainsword, whirlwind of gore attack and ferocious instincts.

4 of you like Lemartes. I've never see and don't know if he's good or not.

3 of you liked Corbulo. I like him because he has a 2+ feel no pain, he gives feel no pain to all guys within 6" and gives 1 re-roll per game.

2 of you liked the Sanguinor. I've never played with him but he's nearly impossible to kill (2+, 3+ invuln). He's also immense in close combat but he costs 285 points and Ghazghull (225 points) can just go in and kill the sanginor during Ghazghull's Waaagh (2+ invuln, strength 10, 6 attacks when he charges but he strikes at initiative one but should still inflict 2 or more wounds to the Sanguinor while losing only 0-1 wounds).

2 of you liked Death Company Tycho. I think he's quite good in close combat so I usually move him next to my Death Company and they assault something together nearly always killing the squad they assault.

None of you liked Astorath the Griim. I haven't played with him but I really think he costs to many points because he isn't actually that good unless you want a Death Company only list. If you know you're going to play against Blood Angels with Blood Angels don't take him because he will make your enemy's troops succumb to the red thirst on a 1-3 instead of 1.

Result of Followers Vote...

I know it's a little late, but luckily the second time round there has been a great improvement in the number of votes. So here are the results:

58% are public followers - Yay! However it is a bit strange that I have 48 followers and only 7 voted for this... (?)

33% only happened to come across my blog at the time, which is interesting but makes sense because I was added to the BOLS blogroll just after this was put up.

Soo... here it is:

28% thought that picture quality needs to be improved - I agree! And as some of my older followers will know, I do have a better camera.

1 person thinks that my batreps are pathetic - yes you hiding down there! Well, pls tell me what I can improve, writing it out in complete detail isn't good, cos I tried that before and it's boring, so...

1 other (or probably the same) person thinks that the Painting and Conversions section of this blog is not good. Well why? I get to choose what I want to paint/convert, or if you're criticising my painting then thats too bad - go follow another blog. Anyways:

The very kind people (71%) among you voted that everything is great and I thank sooo much for that. It's great to now that someone likes what I do here.

Snipers Vote Results!

So according you guys I've been wrong this time, as the results show:

75% of you voted that snipers were decent, if you want to find more out about why, go to this post. Summing it up, they don't often hit esp for IG, unless in a vet squad, and are only good against stuff like marines.

50% for look cool. Yep, I'd say it's generally agreed that most snipers look pretty awesome.

Result of Vote:What Kind Of Camera do you use to photograph your minis?

The poll has been closed for about a day and I thank you all who voted. The Results:

3 votes for Iphone Camera: This is an okay camera (3.4 or 5 - depending on whether you got 4 or 3GS I think). It is very useful as you can have it with you most of the time and also don't need to spend money getting a pro camera when you've got a decent(ish) one on your phone. Downside - images can be a bit fuzzy/unclear.

3 votes for Sony: These cameras are usually good, I use mine whenever I can (ie last battle report) not much else to add really - good quality camera.

1 vote for over 12 Mega-pixel camera: These are always good (I use a 12 MG Sony Lumix), we all know about those really cool cameras with like 24 MG, but they are quite expensive.

2 votes for Imperial Guard:
This is probably unsurprising as it is actually quite hard to make a well balanced force using guardsmen, especially if you don't know what you are facing. A tip for guardsmen players out there that I found works well, is move your infantry and tanks at the same time when attacking the enemy as this means either they shoot up your big gun or the lord commissar hidden in your squad of thirty who's going to beat up a unit in the assault phase.

This in my opinion is quite often a fun army to go against as unless they take a load of hard boys, you can always end up killing a load of greenskins, so even a loss achieves a sort of moral victory.

1 vote for Tau:
Well, against tau there's nothing much to say really, if you have some fast attacking troops and a railgun shot or two misses then you're in luck.

The other armies are in my opinion quite tough (i.e. Space Marines) or rare like Daemonhunters. So thanks for reading and please don't be shy to comment and express you're own experiences.
